The ivy (Epipremnum pinnatum) belongs to the arum family and originally comes from the tropical regions in Southeast Asia, Australia and the Pacific islands. It is easy to care for, forgives if you forget to water it and grows excellently even in dark corners of the room. The ivy comes in many different color variations, the best known is the variety "Aurenum" with green yellow variegated leaves. The brightly colored varieties in particular should be placed closer to the window, otherwise the color will not fully express itself. It usually grows as a hanging plant, in a hanging basket, or on a moss stick, and its shoots can grow up to 10 meters long.
The ivy is poisonous to humans and animals.
