Parsely

Petersilie - FARBIO® - Nachhaltige Bio-Flüssigdünger aus Hamburg

The popular kitchen herb grows about 50 cm high, is part of the umbelliferae family ( Apiaceae ) and comes from the Mediterranean . Mainly, we generally distinguish between G latter parsley ( Petroselinum crispum var . neopolitanum ) and Curly parsley ( Petroselinum crispum var . crispum ) . In the root parsley ( Petroselinum crispum var . tuberosum ) it forms a taproot, which can be eaten. Young plants can be grown indoors from March, and parsley can be sown outdoors from May. As a room culture, for example on the windowsill, it can be harvested all year round. Parsley usually starts flowering in the second year, at which point the plant should be removed because the flowers are slightly poisonous. Even though it is a biennial, it is best to replant it every year. A light to semi-shady location with humus -rich and moist soil is suitable for this .
