The soil should be kept moist but not too wet. Depending on the variety, it can be cultivated outdoors from March to October . It is not necessary to bring it forward , but it is possible . It is not important to harvest the whole plant , because if you cut or pluck it, it will grow back . If the lettuce shoots up, however, it is no longer edible.
