In the USA, more precisely in Los Angeles, Rob Moffitt has created something unique in the plant scene. The nurse wanted to open a houseplant shop because of his passion for plants. However, the pandemic threw a spanner in the works. Luckily we say today, because instead of a shop, the young American opened the Haus Plant Truck, true to the motto: "If people can't come to a shop, maybe I can come to them".
Officially opening on May 9th, 2021, the Haus Plant Truck works just like a food truck, only with plants. The truck stops in the trendiest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, from Abbot Kinney in Venice to Sunset Junction in Los Feliz, for great houseplants, accessories and merch for sale. The Haus Plant Truck also collaborates with festivals and pop-up events. Customers can always find out the location of the truck in advance on the Instagram profile or the website.
We think that something like this would be great in the big cities of Germany. After all, there are also flowers at the weekly market, so why not mobile indoor plants and accessories?
