The candlestick flower (Ceropegia woodii) is also known as the "string of hearts". As the English name suggests, the plant consists of up to 2 meter long strands on which the small, green and white patterned, heart-shaped leaves hang. It belongs to the succulents and originally comes from South Africa. Accordingly, it does not need excessive water, it is sufficient to water it once or twice a week so that the soil never dries out completely and is never too wet. It does not have high site requirements and also grows in the cooler, darker corners. However, the temperature should never fall below 15 degrees.
The plant is not poisonous to humans.
